What Happened

Elijah and Elisha were walking together when a chariot of fire with horses of fire pulled up and a whirlwind took Elijah straight to heaven. He never died. Elisha picked up Elijah's cloak, smacked the Jordan River with it, and the water split. The other prophets were like 'the spirit of Elijah is on Elisha now.' Most dramatic exit in all of Scripture, no cap.
