Ezekiel sees wheels within wheels, four-faced creatures, and God's glory — it's a lot
Ezekiel's opening vision is absolutely unhinged. He sees a storm cloud with four living creatures, each with four faces (human, lion, ox, eagle) and four wings. There are spinning wheels covered in eyes, and above it all is God's throne radiating like fire and rainbow. This is God showing up in Babylon to say 'I'm still here even in exile.' The most psychedelic chapter in Scripture, no cap.
Ezekiel is sitting by a river in exile when the sky literally rips open and he sees the wildest vision in the entire Bible. Four living creatures, wheels covered in eyes, and the throne of God Himself. This is not a drill.
EzekielThe Throne Room Had Wheels (And Eyes Everywhere)Ezekiel watches God's throne room in motion — cherubim with four faces, wheels covered in eyes, and burning coals scattered over Jerusalem. Then the glory of the Lord literally gets up and leaves the Temple. It's terrifying and heartbreaking at the same time.
