Sarai got impatient waiting for God's promise and said 'just have a baby with my servant' — what could go wrong?
Sarai couldn't have kids so she gave her servant Hagar to Abram. Hagar got pregnant and immediately started acting brand new, so Sarai treated her rough and she ran. An angel found her in the wilderness and told her to go back, promising her son Ishmael would be a whole nation. Years later after Isaac was born, Sarah kicked Hagar and Ishmael out, but God showed up again and took care of them.
