What Happened

Nebuchadnezzar forgot his own dream and demanded his advisors not just interpret it but TELL him what it was. When nobody could, he ordered them all executed. Daniel stepped up, got the dream revealed by God, and described a massive statue of gold, silver, bronze, and iron that gets destroyed by a rock. It was basically a prophecy of every empire that would ever run the world.
