King Mesha of Moab literally carved his own victory post about beating Israel — and it lowkey confirms biblical events no cap.
This basalt slab from ~840 BCE is Mesha flexing about breaking free from Israel's control after King Ahab died. It mentions Israel, Omri, and even Yahweh by name. Archaeologists found it in 1868 in modern Jordan, and it's literally one of the most important ancient Near Eastern inscriptions ever discovered.
