Tyre plants a colony on Cyprus and it's giving manifest destiny but make it Bronze Age
Around 1000-950 BCE, Phoenicians from Tyre established a major colony at Kition (modern Larnaca) on Cyprus, one of their earliest permanent overseas settlements. Archaeological excavations reveal Phoenician temples, copper smelting operations, and inscriptions. This colony gave Tyre access to Cyprus's massive copper reserves — the ancient equivalent of securing an oil pipeline.
