Rise of Uruk — First Major City

While most humans were still vibing in small villages, Uruk said 'hold my beer' and became the first major urban center. Temples, markets, bureaucracy — the whole package. The Epic of Gilgamesh is literally set here. This city was THE place to be in ancient Mesopotamia.
