The land or people associated with Gog in Ezekiel 38-39 — see Gog
Genesis 10:2 lists Magog as a son of Japheth, suggesting an ancient people group somewhere north of Israel. By Ezekiel's time the name carried apocalyptic connotations as a far-off enemy nation. Revelation 20:8 pairs "Gog and Magog" as the symbolic last enemies God will defeat at history's end.
