Head of a Temple servant family that returned from exile
Barkos was the ancestor of a family of Temple servants (Nethinim) who returned to Judah from Babylonian exile under Zerubbabel. His descendants are listed among those who came back to serve in the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem. He appears in the genealogical records of Ezra 2:53 and Nehemiah 7:55.
