Hassophereth

Hassophereth, also recorded as Sophereth in Nehemiah's account, was the ancestor of a family group listed among the descendants of Solomon's servants who returned to Judah after the Babylonian exile. This family appears in the post-exilic genealogies found in Ezra 2:55 and Nehemiah 7:57.
