Jetur

Son of Ishmael and grandson of Abraham, Jetur is listed among the twelve princes of Ishmael in Genesis 25 and 1 Chronicles 1. His descendants, the Itureans, appear in later biblical history as a people group in the region north of Galilee, mentioned in conflicts with the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh (1 Chronicles 5).
