Shobai

Shobai was the head of a gatekeeper family whose descendants returned from Babylonian exile to Jerusalem. His lineage is recorded in the post-exilic census lists of Ezra 2:42 and Nehemiah 7:45, where 139 of his descendants are counted among those who came back to serve at the Temple.
