7 days to know who you really are
The world keeps trying to tell you who you are. Here's what God says instead.
Start Reading — Day 1: Made in the Image, FrReady when you are.
Before you were your job title, your follower count, or your GPA, God literally designed you to reflect His own image. That's not a participation trophy — that's your origin story, no cap.
Reflect
What parts of your identity are you building on stuff that could disappear tomorrow (grades, clout, relationships)?
If being made in God's image is your starting point, how does that change the way you talk to yourself?
God didn't pick you because you finally got your life together. He chose you before the foundation of the world — like, before the universe even had WiFi. Ephesians 1 is basically God's DM saying 'you were always the plan.'
If you've ever wanted a fresh start, 2 Corinthians 5 is that. Paul's out here saying the old you is literally gone — you're a whole new creation. Not a renovation, not a glow-up. Brand new. The factory reset hit different when God does it.
Psalm 139 is God basically saying 'I was there for every detail.' Your personality, your quirks, the way your brain works — none of it was an accident. You were handcrafted with intention, and that's bussin.
Romans 8 is lowkey one of the most fire chapters in the whole Bible. You're not just God's project — you're His kid. Adopted with full rights, full inheritance, full access. No cap, nothing can separate you from that.
Peter's writing to people who felt like outsiders and rejects, and he hits them with: you're chosen, royal, holy, and God's own possession. That's not motivational poster energy — that's your actual spiritual resume. Read it and believe it fr fr.
Paul had the most impressive resume in the game — and he threw it all away. Galatians 2 is where he drops the truth bomb: your identity isn't built on performance, rule-following, or being enough. It's Christ living in you. Stop trying to earn what's already yours.
