📢 Chapter 12 — The Full Highlight Reel 🏆

If the book of were a sports season, chapter 12 is the end-of-year stats page. No new battles, no dramatic last stands — just a full accounting of every single king took down under and then under Joshua. This is God pulling up the receipts.

Think of it like a conquest recap episode. East of the ? Two kings. West of the Jordan? Thirty-one. Every name, every city, every that stood in the way of the — documented and done. God said He'd give them the land, and this chapter is the proof that He delivered. No cap.

The East Side Recap (Moses' Era) ⚔️

Before Joshua ever crossed the Jordan, Moses had already started the conquest on the east side. Two major kings had tried to stand in Israel's way — and both caught massive L's.

First up: Sihon, king of the Amorites. This guy ruled from Heshbon and controlled a huge stretch of territory — from the Valley of the Arnon all the way to the Jabbok River, including half of Gilead and the whole Arabah down to the Salt Sea. His kingdom was no joke.

Then there was Og, king of Bashan — one of the last of the Rephaim, which basically means he was from a line of ancient giants. He ruled from Ashtaroth and Edrei, controlling Mount Hermon, Salecah, all of Bashan, and the other half of Gilead. Dude's territory was elite. But none of it mattered. Moses, the servant of the Lord, and the people of defeated both of them, and their land was given to the tribes of Reuben, , and the half-tribe of Manasseh. God's distribution started before they even crossed the river. ⚡

The West Side Takeover (Joshua's Era) 🗺️

Now for the main event. Once Israel crossed the Jordan, Joshua led them through a conquest that covered literally every type of terrain the land had to offer.

From Baal-gad in the Valley of Lebanon up north, all the way down to Mount Halak near Seir in the south — Joshua gave the conquered territory to the tribes of Israel as their . Hill country, lowlands, the Arabah, the slopes, the wilderness, and the Negev. The land of the Hittites, the Amorites, the , the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. Every region, every people group, every square mile of what God had promised — Joshua distributed it all.

This wasn't random military expansion. This was a promise being fulfilled in real time. God told centuries earlier that his descendants would have this land. Now here they were, dividing it up. 💯

The King Count: Thirty-One and Done 👑

He keeps receipts, and this chapter IS the receipts. 🔥
