Moses Strikes the Rock

Moses lost his temper, hit a rock twice instead of speaking to it, and God said 'that's why you're not entering the Promised Land.'

What Happened

The people were complaining about water AGAIN at Meribah. God told Moses to speak to the rock and it would give water. But Moses was so frustrated he yelled at the people and struck the rock twice with his staff instead. Water still came out, but God told Moses and Aaron they wouldn't enter the Promised Land because they didn't honor Him as holy. After everything Moses did, one moment of anger cost him the finish line. Hits different.
