Egypt vs the Hittites in the biggest chariot battle ever — then they made history's first known peace treaty because they were both gassed
Ramesses II marched north to fight the Hittites at Kadesh (modern Syria) and almost got ambushed when Hittite spies fed him fake intel. The battle was basically a draw but Ramesses went home and carved propaganda everywhere saying he won single-handedly. The real W came later — the Egyptian-Hittite peace treaty is the oldest surviving international peace agreement. A copy hangs in the UN headquarters.
