Iron Age Begins

With the collapse of Bronze Age trade networks, tin (needed for bronze) became scarce, and civilizations had to pivot to iron. Iron was harder to work but the ore was everywhere, which lowkey democratized weapon and tool production. Suddenly you didn't need international trade deals just to arm your soldiers. The Philistines were early adopters in the region, which gave them a major flex over their neighbors for a while.
