Egypt's Pharaoh Shishak pulled up on Jerusalem and basically robbed Solomon's temple blind — no cap, his own victory wall at Karnak confirms it.
Shoshenq I (the Bible calls him Shishak) ran up on Rehoboam's Jerusalem around 925 BCE and took all the gold treasures Solomon had stacked. This raid is one of the earliest biblical events confirmed by Egyptian records — Shoshenq literally carved a victory relief at the Temple of Karnak listing the cities he conquered.
