Tutankhamun became pharaoh at like 9 years old and his advisors immediately reversed everything Akhenaten did. They reopened the temples, moved the capital back to Thebes, and restored Amun as chief deity. Tut himself is mid as pharaohs go — he's mainly famous because his tomb survived intact for 3,000 years.
