Abraham tried to negotiate with God to save Sodom, but the city was too far gone — fire and sulfur from the sky.
God told Abraham he was about to end Sodom, and Abraham started bargaining like 'what if there's 50 righteous people? 45? 40?' all the way down to 10. There weren't even 10. Two angels went to rescue Lot, the whole city tried to mob them, and the angels literally struck everyone blind. Lot's family barely escaped before God rained fire. Lot's wife looked back and became a salt pillar — God said don't look and she looked.

Abraham Said 'Bet' and God Said 'Say Less'
Three mystery visitors pull up to Abraham's tent and drop a bombshell — Sarah's having a baby at 90. She laughs, gets called out, and then Abraham goes full negotiator mode trying to save Sodom from getting absolutely cooked.
Genesis
When God Said "Get Out" and Meant It
Two angels roll up to Sodom on a rescue mission, the whole city shows its true colors, and God literally rains fire from the sky. Lot barely makes it out, his wife doesn't, and the chapter ends somewhere nobody wants to talk about.
