The Binding of Isaac

This is the most intense test in the Bible no cap. God said 'take Isaac, your only son, the one you love, and offer him as a burnt offering.' Abraham got up early the next morning and just... went. Isaac even asked 'where's the lamb?' and Abraham said 'God will provide.' He built the altar, bound Isaac, raised the knife — and an angel stopped him at the last second. A ram appeared in a thicket. God was testing his faith and Abraham passed with a perfect score.
