What Happened

The serpent slides up to Eve with the original scam pitch and she eats the forbidden fruit. Adam's right there and eats too. Suddenly they're aware they're naked, hiding from God in the bushes, and pointing fingers. God hands out consequences: the serpent crawls, childbirth hurts, and the ground fights back. They get evicted from Eden with no appeal.
