Head of a Temple servant family that returned from exile
Gazzam was the ancestor of a family of Nethinim (Temple servants) who returned to Jerusalem from Babylonian exile under Zerubbabel. His descendants are listed among those who resumed service at the Temple, appearing in the post-exile genealogies of Ezra 2:48 and Nehemiah 7:51.
