About

An Israelite from Jezreel who owned a vineyard that King Ahab coveted. When Naboth refused to sell his ancestral inheritance, Jezebel arranged false testimony and had him stoned to death. Elijah then pronounced God's judgment on Ahab's house (1 Kings 21).
