The scribe who physically wrote down the book of Romans for Paul
Paul dictated his letter to the Romans, and Tertius was the one holding the pen. He even snuck in his own greeting at the end: 'I, Tertius, who wrote down this letter, greet you in the Lord' (Romans 16:22). One of the few scribes in the Bible who gets a name drop.
