Asia MinorHistorically Verified
A region in central Turkey. The ancient city of Gordion (of 'Gordian Knot' fame) has been dug up here, along with monuments from the legendary King Midas.
A large region in the interior of modern-day Turkey. Paul traveled through Phrygia on both his second and third missionary journeys (Acts 16:6, 18:23), strengthening the disciples.
