The Beatitudes (aka The Real W's) ✨

Matthew 5:3-12 (ESV) Jesus went up on a mountain, sat down, and basically started dropping the most fire TED Talk of all time. No cap.

He said:

🥺 Blessed are those who are struggling fr fr — because heaven is literally yours.

😭 Blessed are those who are going through it — because you WILL be comforted.

🤝 Blessed are the humble ones, no ego — because y'all are inheriting the whole earth. That's the ultimate flex.

🍽️ Blessed are those who are starving for justice — because you're about to be FED.

💕 Blessed are the ones who show mercy — because that energy is coming right back to you.

🪞 Blessed are the pure-hearted — because you're literally going to see God. Unfiltered.

☮️ Blessed are the peacemakers — y'all will be called God's kids. That's elite status.

😤 Blessed are the ones getting dragged for doing the right thing — heaven is yours. Period.

And then He looked right at them and said:

"When people are toxic to you, spread lies, and try to cancel you because of me — don't even stress. Be hype about it. Your reward in heaven is absolutely bussin'. They did the same thing to the prophets before you, and those guys were iconic."

Salt & Light (aka Don't Be Mid) 💡

Matthew 5:13-16 (ESV) "Y'all are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its flavor, it's literally useless — you'd just yeet it. Don't be flavorless.

You are the light of the world. Nobody lights a candle and hides it under a bucket. That's unhinged. You put it where everyone can see it.

So let your light shine in front of everyone. Let them see your good vibes so they give glory to your Dad in heaven. Understood the assignment."

The Law Still Slaps 📜

Matthew 5:17-20 (ESV) "Don't think I came here to throw out the rules. I didn't come to delete them — I came to complete them. Not one tiny detail of the law is getting removed until everything is fulfilled. Deadass.

So whoever ignores even the smallest rule and teaches others to do the same? Bottom tier in the kingdom. But whoever follows them and teaches them? Top tier. Goated."

Anger Is Not the Vibe 😠➡️🕊️

Matthew 5:21-26 (ESV) "You've heard 'don't unalive anyone.' Obviously. But I'm telling you — if you're even holding rage against someone, that's already a problem. If you're out here calling people worthless, you're catching spiritual consequences.

So if you're about to worship and you remember someone has beef with you — leave your offering right there, go fix it first, THEN come back. Settle things before it escalates. Don't let drama live rent free in your head."

On Lust 👀

Matthew 5:27-30 (ESV) "You've heard 'don't cheat.' But I'm saying if you're even looking at someone with those intentions, it's already happened in your heart.

If your right eye is making you sus — it'd be better to lose it than to let your whole self get wrecked. This is extreme, but the point is: take your boundaries seriously."

On Divorce 💔

Matthew 5:31-32 (ESV) "It's been said you can divorce with paperwork and call it good. But I'm telling you, it's way deeper than that. Don't treat commitment like a subscription you can just cancel."

On Promises 🤞

Matthew 5:33-37 (ESV) "Stop over-swearing on everything. Don't swear on heaven, earth, or even your own head. Just let your yes be yes and your no be no. That's it. Keep it real. No cap needed when you ARE no cap."

On Revenge (Spoiler: Don't) 🚫👊

Matthew 5:38-42 (ESV) "You've heard 'eye for an eye.' But I'm telling you — don't match energy with toxic people.

If someone slaps you, turn the other cheek. If someone sues you for your hoodie, give them the jacket too. If someone forces you to walk a mile, go two. Give to anyone who asks. This is the most counter-cultural, absolutely unhinged-level kindness and that's the point."

Love Your Haters 💀❤️

Matthew 5:43-48 (ESV) "You've heard 'love your squad, hate your enemies.' But I say love your enemies. Pray for the people who are literally out to get you. Why? Because God sends sunshine on good AND terrible people. Rain falls on the just and unjust.

If you only love people who love you back, what's so special about that? Even the most toxic people do that. Be different. Be complete. Be like your Father."

Giving in Secret 🤫💰

Matthew 6:1-4 (ESV) "When you do good things, don't make it a whole production for clout. The people who announce their charity are just farming likes. They already got their reward — and it's mid.

When you give, don't even let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Keep it lowkey. Your Father sees the private stuff, and He'll reward you."

How to Pray (The Lord's Prayer) 🙏

Matthew 6:5-15 (ESV) "When you pray, don't be like the people who stand in public making a whole scene. They're performing. Their reward? Engagement metrics. That's it.

Go to your room. Close the door. Talk to God in private. And don't just ramble with a wall of text — God already knows what you need.

Pray like this:

Our Father in heaven, Your name is holy — we stan. Let your kingdom come, Let your will be done, On earth just like it is in heaven. Give us what we need today. Forgive us where we messed up, Like we forgive the people who wronged us. Don't let us fall into temptation, But keep us safe from evil. 🙏

If you forgive others, your Father forgives you. If you hold grudges? Yeah... that energy blocks your own forgiveness."

On Fasting 🍽️🚫

Matthew 6:16-18 (ESV) "When you fast, don't walk around looking miserable so everyone knows. That's just theater. Wash your face, look normal, keep it between you and God. He sees. He rewards."

Treasure in Heaven > Earthly Flex 💎

Matthew 6:19-21 (ESV) "Stop hoarding stuff on earth where it rusts, breaks, and gets stolen. Store your treasure in heaven — moths can't touch it, hackers can't breach it.

Because wherever your treasure is, that's where your heart's gonna be too. Facts."

Your Eyes Are the Vibe Check 👁️

Matthew 6:22-23 (ESV) "Your eye is like the flashlight for your whole body. If your eyes are healthy — focused on the right things — your whole self is full of light. But if your eyes are bad — fixated on the wrong things — your whole self is darkness.

And if the light inside you is actually darkness? Bro, that's dark dark. 🕳️"

You Can't Serve Two Masters 🎭

Matthew 6:24 (ESV) "No one can serve two bosses. You'll vibe with one and ghost the other. You cannot serve God and money. Pick one."

Stop Stressing (God's Got You) 😮‍💨➡️😌

Matthew 6:25-34 (ESV) "This is why I'm telling you — stop being anxious about your life. What you'll eat, what you'll wear. Life is more than food and clothes.

Look at the birds. They don't grind, they don't hustle, they don't have a 401k. And your heavenly Father still feeds them. Are you not worth way more than birds??

And who among you, by stressing, has ever added a single hour to your life? Literally no one.

Why are you anxious about clothes? Look at the wildflowers. They don't even try and they're out here looking better than Solomon in his peak drip. If God dresses GRASS like that — grass that's here today and composted tomorrow — He's DEFINITELY got you covered.

So stop saying 'what will we eat, what will we wear.' People without faith stress about that stuff. Your Father already knows you need all of it.

Seek God's kingdom first. Chase that. Everything else gets added.

Don't stress about tomorrow. Tomorrow's got its own problems. Today has enough drama already. One day at a time. 🫶"

Don't Judge (Fr Fr) ⚖️

Matthew 7:1-5 (ESV) "Stop judging people or you'll get judged the same way. The standard you use on others? That's the one coming back at you.

Why are you pointing out the crumb in someone else's eye when you've got a whole log in yours? Handle your own stuff first. Then you can see clearly enough to help someone else. Self-awareness is elite."

Don't Waste Pearls 🐷📿

Matthew 7:6 (ESV) "Don't give sacred things to people who'll just trash them. Don't throw your pearls in front of pigs — they'll stomp on them and then come for you. Read the room. Protect your energy."

Ask, Seek, Knock 🚪

Matthew 7:7-11 (ESV) "Ask, and you'll receive. Seek, and you'll find. Knock, and the door opens.

If your kid asks for bread, would you give them a rock? If they ask for fish, would you hand them a snake? No. You're imperfect and you still know how to give good gifts. How much more will your perfect Father give good things to those who ask?"

Matthew 7:12 (ESV) "So here it is, the ultimate summary: Treat people the way you want to be treated. That's the whole law and prophets in one sentence. That's the tweet."

The Narrow Gate 🚪

Matthew 7:13-14 (ESV) "Enter through the narrow gate. The wide gate? Easy path? Tons of people go that way, and it leads to destruction. The narrow gate is harder. Fewer people find it. But it leads to life. Choose hard mode."

Tree = Fruit 🌳🍎

Matthew 7:15-23 (ESV) "Watch out for fake people who come dressed like they're safe but are actually wolves. You'll know them by their fruit. You don't get grapes from thorn bushes. A good tree makes good fruit. A bad tree makes bad fruit.

Not everyone who says 'Lord, Lord' is actually in. Some people will say 'didn't I do all this stuff in your name?' And He'll say: 'I never knew you.' Yikes. It's about the relationship, not the resume."

The Wise & Foolish Builders 🏠

Matthew 7:24-27 (ESV) "Everyone who hears these words and actually DOES them? You're like someone who built their house on solid rock. 🪨 Rain came, floods hit, winds blew — house stood firm.

Everyone who hears these words and DOESN'T do them? You built on sand. 🏖️ Same storm hits and your whole house collapses. Catastrophic L."

The Crowd's Reaction 🤯

Matthew 7:28-29 (ESV) When Jesus finished, the crowds were absolutely shook. Because He taught with real authority — not like their usual teachers who were just quoting other people.
