What Happened

Naaman, commander of the Syrian army, had leprosy. A captured Israelite servant girl told him about Elisha. Naaman rolled up with his whole entourage expecting some dramatic ritual, but Elisha just said 'go wash in the Jordan seven times.' Naaman was HEATED — 'our rivers back home are nicer!' His servants talked him into it and he was completely healed. Pride almost cost him everything.
