Miletus

An ancient Greek city on the western coast of Asia Minor. Paul stopped here on his final journey to Jerusalem and summoned the elders from Ephesus for one of the most moving speeches in Acts (Acts 20:17-38). He warned them about false teachers, reminded them of his example, and told them they would never see his face again. 'They all wept and embraced Paul.'
