A boundary marker on the eastern border of the tribe of Zebulun
GalileeNeah was a small boundary point on the eastern border of Zebulun's inheritance in lower Galilee (Joshua 19:13). The boundary traces from Sarid eastward to Chislot-tabor and Daberath, then up to Japhia, then over to Gath-hepher, Eth-kazin, Rimmon, Neah, and Hannathon before ending in the Valley of Iphtahel. The line divided Zebulun from Naphtali to the north and Issachar to the south — winding through the gentle hill country south of the Sea of Galilee that included Nazareth and the landscape of Jesus's early years. The exact site of Neah is uncertain.
