AI and What It Means to Be Human

Machines can create now. So what makes you different?

AI went from "cool party trick" to "wait should I be scared" real fast. ChatGPT writes essays, Midjourney makes art, and every other week some new model passes another professional exam. Everyone's asking the same question: if machines can do what we do... what makes us special? 🤔

The Bible has entered the chat. And it's been answering this question for literally thousands of years.

God Created by SPEAKING

1 opens with this absolute banger: "In the beginning was the Word." Before anything existed, God spoke — and everything came into being. Creation isn't random output. It's personal. Intentional. It has a SOURCE.

When AI generates a poem, it's processing patterns from millions of texts. When YOU create something, something deeper is happening. The Bible calls it bearing the . Your creativity isn't just neurons firing — it's a reflection of the Creator himself. That's not the same thing as a really good algorithm. Not even close. 💯

Being Smart Isn't the Same as Being Wise

3 draws a hard line between two kinds of . One is "earthly, unspiritual" — basically just being clever and strategic. The other comes from God and is "pure, peaceable, gentle, open to reason."

AI is literally goated at the first kind. It can optimize, predict, and process faster than any human ever will. But the second kind? The wisdom that knows when to shut up, when to , when to take the L for someone else? That requires a soul. And no model has one. Period. 🧠

You're Not Your Output

Real talk: the scariest thing about AI for most people is "what if it takes my ?" addressed that exact energy in 6. He said stop spiraling about tomorrow. "Look at the birds — they don't produce anything, and your feeds them."

Your value was NEVER based on what you can produce. That's a capitalism thing, not a God thing. is RELENTLESS on this: you matter because of whose image you carry, not what you can manufacture. Read that again. 🔥

The One Thing AI Can't Do

4 shows the throne room of . The beings closest to God aren't analyzing data or optimizing workflows — they're worshiping. Day and night, nonstop: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty."

can't be automated because it requires a WILL. A choice to orient yourself toward something bigger than you. AI can spit out the words "holy holy holy" but it can't MEAN them. That capacity — to stand in genuine awe of your Creator — is what separates you from every machine ever built. No cap. 🙌

So What Do We Do?

AI is a tool. A wild one. It's gonna change how we work, learn, and create. But it can't change what you ARE. The Bible's answer to "what makes humans special?" was never about intelligence or skill. It's about relationship — being known by the God who made you, and choosing to love him back.

No algorithm can replicate that. Ever. ✊
